Students will write a research paper of 5 pages using APA documentation style. The student will choose a controversial subject, objectively explaining both opposing views. The student will then choose a side and deliver supporting material for their choice. Subjects chosen must be approved by the instructor. Papers should refer to a minimum of six sources of which at least two are scholarly sources and at least two are print sources (ProQuest Direct is considered a print source). A variety of source materials (periodicals, books, reference works, and on-line) are strongly encouraged. (200 pts.)
